Charis
Video Organizer & Researcher
Hello! My name is Charis. I'm a homeschooled senior in high school from Houston, Texas. I've been involved with conservation my whole life, and I'm particularly interested in maintaining wild bee populations, especially the native species here in Texas. Soon I'll be working to complete my Eagle project, which will be to build and install a number of small beehouses at a local park to help stimulate native Mason and carpenter bee populations.

Killian
Meeting Organizer & Researcher
My name is Killian Daly and I am a rising high school senior living in Irvington, New York. I have been a member of the Massachusetts Agricultural 4H Program in Worcester, Massachusetts, since I was 5 years old, during which time I have been engaged in conservation, gardening, and community efforts promoting sustainable agriculture for the next generation. Through my high school mock trial, I have become very interested in law and the power of legislation. The JTB ConnectED program was a way for me to meet like-minded peers, take the first step into the world of law, and make a difference by showing the clear impacts of EPA legislation on Bee populations in America.
Murray
Petition Creator
Hi my name is Murray and I helped create a petition for the bees as part of this project. I took interest in this project after I heard how big the problem was. In my free time I love to surf and enjoy nature.
Niharika
Video Organizer & Researcher
Hello my friends! My name is Niharika, and I am a recently graduating senior from Minnesota. As an avid beekeeper for the past four years, I have been a devoted environmentalist in my local, national, and global community. With experience in journalism, having written for The Circle, Unite the World, and recently reporting for News Decoder, I strive to empower marginalized communities, while tackling both Minnesota’s and the world’s most pressing environmental and social justice issues.
Princess
Researcher
Hello! My name is Princess, and I’m from Chicago. I’m a Junior at St. Marks School, located in Massachusetts. Two springs ago, I studied cheetah conservation in Namibia Africa. This experience really got me involved in animal and environmental protection and advocacy. Learning about pesticide usage in relationship to bee pollination was right down my alley, and I was excited to begin this project. It was an honor working with all my teammates and sharing our research. I have been interested pursuing a career in the law field for quite a while now, and have been actively getting involved by enrolling in different summer law programs. I have done a few projects in the past for bee research and look forward to continuing the conversation outside of this project.
